Step 2: Prepare Google Earth

• Make sure you have the 3D View by clicking "Tools" / Options / 3D View
• Make sure that under “Show Lat/Long” that Universal Transverse Mercator is checked.
• Make sure that under “Show Elevation” Meters/Kilometers is selected.
• Click Okay.
• Make sure that under “View”, Toolbar, Compass, Status Bar, and Scale Legend are selected.
