Part 3: Collecting coordinates and creating a map layout in QGIS.

Step 1: Open the attribute table for “QC_SimBavaria”.

• Add each layer found in the Table of Contents to the Overview Map Window by right clicking on each layer and selecting to “Add to Overview”.
• Open the attribute table for the “QC_SimBavaria” points.
• Arrange the attribute table so you can see most of the QGIS map display.
• Click on a point in the attribute table and notice that the point is highlighted in the map display. If the point is not highlighted, make sure the appropriate layer is selected in the Table of Contents.
