If you can read this, you have successfully logged into the Virgina Wind Energy Collaborative ftp site. To upload data, drag the file into the window and wait for it to finish transferring.

If you experience trouble uploading try changing the settings in explorer to allow for "passive ftp." To do so,

  • Open the Control Panel.
  • Open Internet Options.
  • Under the Advanced tab you should see a section called "Browsing".
  • Check the option to "Use Passive FTP" found toward the end of the list.
  • Reboot.
If you are behind a firewall this change may be necessary.

We will download your data off of the site as soon as we can. To expedite its removal from the site, email us at muthcj@jmu.edu, briggsjn@alumni.jmu.edu, or lottsme@jmu.edu letting us know the data needs to be removed.

Understanding the sensitivity of this data we will treat this material and our agreement to use it with respect.
